Night Sweats Inspiration by rem-severem Night Sweats Inspiration by rem-severem
"I'm so tired of being tired and yet it does me little good to dream.
I'd cut my wrist if I had a chainsaw but all I can find is this damn
fountain pen and it bleeds me little, the ink drying too quickly to
leave it's mark upon the world."

This poem by FollowinTheBlackBird inspired me to do a piece. It's the first time in awhile that I've actually been inspired. I was pretty picky while making it and I'm happy with how it turned out.

The background was made with a picture of the sky that I took and a free grunge stock image I found somewhere online. I don't remember where, but I can always search if anyone needs.

It should not take pain
To write
But does not hurt
To try the muse
That is our abuse

Well, obviously your Mom is going to be proud of your work! :D

But seriously, this is a wonderful image that captures the feel of the poem. I like the colors and the clear imagery. Good job!

Thank you very much. Besides my husband and FollowinTheBlackBird, my family doesn't know I do any of this.

Well, I'm sure they would be proud of you, too; you're good at it. :D

I keep coming back to this. I've been meaning to ask you what software you're using?

I'm going to have to dig out my old copy of paint shop. I think you'll like what it can do.

Wow! Kiddo this is great! When you said you made something from my poem I actually forgot all about it. I just checked my messages. Sorry about that. My memory seems to be getting worse instead of better. I really like this allot and I'm glad my work could inspire something like it.
